The design of Kangbao Garden explores, under the modern dwelling mode and with such a high FAR of urban center, how the architectural design returns to the tradition. The general layout focuses on the periphery arrangement, the yard is set up in the center, and through environmental design, such yard is divided into many divisions so that a traditional yard reappears in the modern yardcourt and meanwhile a small-sized space interface between the building and human is formed, and the environment of the yard is more friendly and appealing. The white paint and grey bricks are selected so as to achieve an elegant, and refined traditional atmosphere with the buildings against the surrounding green trees. The exterior façade is treated in combination with the rainwater pipe so as to form a transitional corridor space from the indoor to the outdoor, embodying the architectural image of the traditional pavilion, and a perfect marriage of form and function.
